Shops in this area seem to come and go, but I hope Freche is here to stay. The interior of the shop is completely white, and reminds me of the clean, contemporary look most boutiques in California have adopted; it's no surprise, however, because the owner of the shop (Fabienne) is a former SoCal celeb stylist. The shopgirls are so friendly and helpful, but don't be surprised if they don't have the size you need. The store stocks items on a "sample sale" sort of basis, where they tend to only have one of each size per item. The designer items from Notice, Jak and Rae, and Jones Jeans are snatched up quickly, so be sure to ask when the next shipment of items comes in so you can get first dibs.
