Midtown Atlanta

For a place full of culture, dining, shopping and more, Midtown Atlanta is a hot spot of activity. Situated between the capital of Georgia’s financial district and the residential Buckhead, midtown is a mix of entertainment and modern progress. With a large amount of apartment complexes and other commercial buildings, midtown boast one third of Atlanta’s high rises. But, for a visitor, the area offers a little of everything for every one. The Fabulous Fox Theater offers a night of culture, the High Museum of Art boasts an eclectic collection of both historic and modern pieces, and both the Woodruff Arts Center and the Atlanta Symphony Center are both a part of the midtown district. If nightlife is fancied, the area is not lacking. More than half of the city’s bars are located in Midtown, including popular spots like CosmoLava, Primal, Opera, Door 44 and more. It is not uncommon to spot some of Hollywood’s elite spending an evening in the area. Midtown offers a large variety of dining experiences, from fine dining to low priced casual fare. Midtown even offers a bit of nature, for it is located next to popular Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Midtown Atlanta is a sure spot for entertainment for any visitor.
