This elder sibling of the Atlanta lesbian and gay bar scene has a legendary history of drawing women for raucous nights on the town. In its new home in East Atlanta Village, the bar may have lost the sprawl and woodsy scenery from its former home on the right side of the tracks in Decatur. But in EAV and down from popular gay bro bar Marys, MSR has gained some curb appeal and street cred in one of the city's hottest nabes. On any given night, thumping bass from T.I. tracks drive a diverse crowd of women to rub shoulders and various other body parts on the dance floor, as the line at the bar swells. While regulars who consider this place a part of the family may miss the naughtier nights spent at its former locale, this new spot seems to offe plenty of diversions to keep them coming home again
