Halogen Headlines Park Tavern's Sunset Sessions Powered By Mountain Dew On May 1

Park Tavern is pleased to announce the second round of performers for Sunset Sessions powered by Mountain Dew following a blistering Neon Indian set that kicked off the season this past Sunday. The weekly, alternative music series in Piedmont Park launched in 2015, with Radio 105.7, The Bowery Presents and Park Tavern coming together to bring Atlantans and visitors alike an incredible lineup of live music from some of today’s most buzz-worthy artists every Sunday for free. The second round of confirmed headliners for Sunset Sessions include: Stop Light Observations (4/24); The Marcus King Band (5/1); California Honeydrops (5/8); Halogen (5/15); Jog Pug, Horse Feathers (5/22); Chris Knight (6/5); HoneyHoney (6/12); Little Tybee (6/19); Baby Baby (7/3); Patrick Sweany (7/10); Wild Child (7/17); Low Cut Connie (7/31); People’s Blues of Richmond (8/14); and Legendary Shack Shakers (8/28). More artists, including a special guest for the series finale, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Located conveniently off of the Atlanta BeltLine, Sunset Sessions is held under the spacious, air conditioned Garden Tent, which boasts Piedmont Park and the Midtown Skyline as its backdrop. Concert goers can enjoy giveaways throughout the series and, the opportunity to mingle with Aly, Knox, and Sully from Radio 105.7 in Atlanta. Plus, fans can try specialty seasonal cocktails, house-brews, 1/2 off sushi from 10 p.m. to midnight, and much more.
