Park Tavern Announces Summer Leg of Performers For Sunset Sessions Powered By Mo

Park Tavern is pleased to announce the summer leg of Sunset Sessions powered by Mountain Dew - a weekly, alternative music series in Piedmont Park. First launched in 2015, ALT 105.7 and Park Tavern once again come together to bring Atlantans and visitors alike an incredible lineup of live music from some of today’s most buzz-worthy artists every Sunday for free this spring and summer. The annual series kicked off on April 29th under Park Tavern’s spacious, air conditioned Garden Tent with multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Kishi Bashi. Since then, the series has hosted an amazing lineup of up-and-coming talent, along with local favorites, including: Gurufish; John Boy & Surround Sound; The Get Right Band; Hank & Cupcakes; Ayo River; and The High Divers.


Newly confirmed artists for the summer dates of Sunset Sessions include: The Bright Light Social Hour, Rujen and The Head (6/10); Little Stranger and Scott Zadig (6/17); The Sweetheart Deal, Christina Vane and Anthony Michael (6/24); Magic City Hippies and Machine Kid (7/01); Supper Doppler and Okey Dokey (7/08); Knox Hamilton and Brother Sundance (7/15); Sweet Crude and Caleb & the Gents (7/22); Banditos, The Buzzards of Fuzz and C2 & The Brothers Reed (7/29); Carly Burruss, Wade Sapp and Andrea Colburn & Mud Moseley (8/05); Sam Burchfield, Truett and Catalina (8/12); Southern Avenue, The Vegabonds and The Tito’s (8/19) Stoop Kids (8/26).The Nightowls and Angela Perley & the Howlin’ Moons (9/02). More artists, including the Sunset Sessions finale, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Located conveniently off of the Atlanta BeltLine, concert goers can enjoy giveaways throughout the series and the opportunity to mingle with on-air personalities from ALT 105.7 in Atlanta. Plus, fans can try specialty seasonal cocktails, house-brews, 1/2 off sushi from 10 p.m. to midnight, and much more. The free concert series will run through Sunday, September 30, 2018; every show is from 7 to 11 p.m. and guests must be 21+ older to attend.
