On Tuesday, July 17th, Ponce City Market’s Posman Books and City Winery have once again teamed up to put a new spin on “book club" with Books & Booze, a monthly free event hosted by Posman Books’ General Manager, Marc Stiles at the popular urban winery. Featuring lively discussions among fellow readers, July’s selection is Meaty' by Samantha Irby. Crafted with scathing wit and poignant candor, Meaty is a series of essays about how to navigate and laugh a way through adulthood, failed relationships, racial hardships and more. Literature lovers can purchase their copy of the month’s selection from Posman Books. Imbibers can also enjoy the featured literary libation created by City Winery’s Beverage Director, JR Smith, available for $10. Free to attend, Books and Booze begins at 7 p.m.
