Summer Send-off with Shops Around Lenox Pop-Up Series

Event Details

August may be bittersweet, but Shops Around Lenox, situated in the heart of Buckhead, has the perfect way to revel in the last few summer Saturdays before the sun sets on the season. Art lovers and visitors alike are invited to enjoy an art-infused series featuring local artists during one of their last summer flings on Saturday, August 7th. End summer with a bang with one-of-a-kind art, live music, cocktails, bites, and more. Art enthusiasts who can’t make it this weekend can also attend the final summer pop-up event on August 21st. Each pop-up gallery event will showcase new artists and will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Shops Around Lenox’s Pop-Gallery is free to attend, and all ages are welcome.

Meet the artist: Monika Gupta is a representational artist working in Oils, Pastels and Acrylics. Painted in classical realism style, her paintings carry a message of hope and depict the beauty of everyday life. She likes to paint small size which keeps the art affordable and makes it suitable for either gifting or for personal use.

Meet the artist: Keir Stewart is an abstract Artist from the north side of Chicago. She has been expressing her heart through painting for 15 years.
Meet the artist: Kayleen Scottis a self-taught visual artist living and working in Atlanta, Georgia. Specializing in acrylic paintings and murals. She is inspired by vibrant colors and bold lines.

Meet the artist: Pam Francesconi’s art, known as Paper Quilling is just one of the names which has been given to this art during its long history. Some sources suggest that many of the techniques used today were originally practiced in Ancient Egypt. Pam makes her art cool and modern and hopes to give this old paper craft technique a new life and significance.
Meet the artist: Susan Proctor has a very extensive and diverse body of work consisting mainly of acrylics and mixed media paintings which incorporate vibrant color and texture. The creative experience, for her, is both conscious and subliminal. It is a spiritual place within that produces a work that has the ability to evoke response from the viewer.

Meet the artist: Tammie Matlackcame late to the party she says. In
