Synopsis: Sunday’s at Four explores what happens when family dynamics are challenged. What happens when the status quo is no longer acceptable? And what happens when family members ask questions they never dared to ask before? Will the Washington family ever recover? And will they continue to meet every Sunday at four? This tender musical is for all the Mothers that hold our families together.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT: When I was two years old, my father died. After a year of doing it completely on her own, my mother decided that we would move in with my grandparents; and they also became my parents. I was very close with my grandfather. When I was about 13 he had a stroke. He passed away when I was 15. It was at this time that my grandmother and I began to bond. As I recollect, she was truly raising me with along with my mom. I would go to her for advice for everything. She was a rock for me, then dementia began to take over. She passed last year.This show is for her and all of the mothers and grandmothers that keep our families strong.
