We love our city and want to help Atlanta compete for people & resources. A thriving contemporary arts scene can be an indicator of overall progress for a city. It's akin to "waving a flag" notifying the world that Atlanta seeks to attract and is open to unique contemporary thought systems in civic, social & business layers. We wave that flag as hard as we can to attract new unique minds to our city and reduce "mind flight” to other cities.
