Whitespace is one of Atlanta's leading contemporary commercial art galleries. Named Critic's Pick for Best Gallery 2010 and Reader's Choice for Best Gallery in 2013 by Creative Loafing Atlanta, whitespace provides an opportunity for both emerging and established artists to showcase their works. A champion of open expression, Owner| Director Susan Bridges founded the gallery in 2007 from the converted 1893 carriage house of her Inman Park Victorian, in order to promote original, unconventional projects. Like the historical neighborhood of Inman Park in which the gallery resides, Whitespace combines the charm of its roots with the vibrancy of the contemporary art it hosts. In this unique setting, Whitespace currently represents an eclectic mix of original contemporary art, sculpture and photography by local, national, and international artists.
