BigBoat on Lake Lanier

It started in 2009 with a simple idea to gather CP's friends aboard a party-cruiser and hang out at the lake. He managed to twist the arms of 14 people to attend, and summer was almost out (September!) before a date was agreed upon.
Now it's grown to two double-decked party-cruisers piloted by CP and his old college roommate Doug, fifty-something-headcount, and a waitlist. However, we will always remember the Original Fourteen who were willing to be "BigBoat when BigBoat Wasn't Cool."
The itinerary currently includes a run north up the Chattahoochee to the Jumping Rock, some time floating in a quiet cove, and a freshly prepared lunch on the beach that over the years has consisted of a low country boil to fried grouper and hushpuppies to grilled chicken.
