The Douglas County Chamber is THRILLED to announce the 2019 Women’s Event: Celebrate YOU!
This event will take place on Thursday, March 7th from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Riverside EpiCenter. Celebrate YOU! Will feature an interactive business showcase, VIP Meet and Greet, two dynamic speakers and so much more.

The event will kick off with an energetic welcome and words of wisdom from a trio of local female leaders; Douglas County Commission Chairman Dr. Romona Jackson-Jones, Douglasville Mayor Rochelle Robinson, and Douglas County Chamber President & CEO Sara Ray. Be prepared for an energetic experience that will have you out of your seats not only encouraging your friends and sisters, but allowing time to Celebrate YOU!

We are so excited to announce our keynote speaker, New York Times Bestselling Author of “For the Love” and “Of Mess and Moxie”, Jen Hatmaker! Jen is the author of eleven books, including New York Times Bestsellers For the Love and Of Mess and Moxie. She is the happy hostess of a tightly knit online community where she reaches millions of people each week. She and her husband, Brandon, founded the Legacy Collective, a giving community that funds sustainable solutions to systemic problems around the world. They also starred in an HGTV series called “My Big Family Renovation” and live in a 105-year old farmhouse just outside Austin, TX with their five kids. She speaks at events all over the country and hosts the popular podcast For the Love with Jen Hatmaker.


If that wasn’t enough, we also are pleased to host La Detra White. As president and CEO of Noble Insight, Inc., La Detra has over twenty year’s experience in leading marketing, public education and research initiatives around the world. In her career, she has served as director of marketing for Fortune 100 companies managing teams and revenue in excess of 5 billion dollars. In 2016, she started The Putting Your Money Where Your Heart Is Project, a movement that encourages La Detra uses her Facebook platform of over 100,000 followers to expose struggling businesses to a slew of potential customers. Her Facebook Live videos have reached millions of people.
