Switchyards is proud to present Made in Atlanta, a monthly event focused on the soul of great Atlanta brands and the people who built them. Presented in partnership with Alternative Apparel.
The night's focus is on the brand story—a lively conversation about how brands are made, how they think, how they act. And we encourage our special guests to talk about some of the topics and details that aren’t discussed often—the vision and the sweat that has made their brands remarkable.

We'll welcome City of Atlanta Councilmember Amir Farokhi to the Switchyards stage.
Amir is a leader in design and great urban environments. For this evening, he'll share more about his work to infuse good graphic design into politics and policy and how he's worked with local ATL designers to do this.
Elected in 2017, Amir Farokhi represents Atlanta's District 2 which includes Downtown, Midtown, Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, Poncey-Highland, and Candler Park. Professionally, he works for CARE USA. He has previously served as Director of Strategy at BrightHouse; Chief Operating Officer of College Advising Corps; Founder and Executive Director of GeorgiaForward. He has also practiced commercial litigation with an international law firm.
