Red’s Beer Garden Hosts Second Annual Hot Dog Eating Competition

With the Fourth of July comes celebrations with friends and family, lively cookouts, fireworks and, of course, hot dog eating competitions. A favorite American past time, hot dog lovers looking for a front row seat to a nail biting event are invited to Red’s Beer Garden on Sunday, July 3rd at 2 p.m. for their second annual hot dog eating competition. The ultimate, local hot dog extravaganza will have Caroline King of the Bitch Beer Podcast as the Master of Ceremonies and have plenty of craft brews from Three Taverns Brewery on hand for revelers and participants to sip on before, during and after the mad dash of 10 competitors consuming as many Fripper’s hot dogs as possible in 10 minutes for a variety of prizes. Those looking to compete, can register for $20 at www.redsbeergarden.com, which includes three complimentary Three Taverns beers. Registration is now open. Red’s Beer Garden 2nd Annual Hot Dog Eating Competition is free to attend and will be held in Red’s expansive, dog-friendly beer garden.
