Join us Saturday, November 12, 2022, as we honor our Nation's veterans and military families at the 41st Annual Georgia Veterans Day events!
Event Details
We are thrilled to return again to The Battery Atlanta to host these family-friendly events, which are free and open to the public.
The events kick off with a Veterans Day Parade and Festival beginning at 11:00am followed by an Observance Ceremony on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage and will include patriotic musical entertainment provided by the 116th Army Band.
No admission tickets or reservations required to attend the Georgia Veterans Day events!
The theme for this year's events is "Wheels Up" and honors our Military Aviation – all branches of service and every type of aircraft.
Our Nation is blessed to have men and women who take to the skies in support of our safety and security. Our pilots, crews, and support personnel are the most talented and dedicated in the world!
Presented each year by the Georgia Veterans Day Association, Inc., an all-volunteer membership, the Veterans Day events are a powerful and significant message to our veterans and military families and reinforce our appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
Hosting these events at The Battery Atlanta offers a full day of activities for families and includes easy access to parking, multiple restaurants, and numerous shops to explore before and after our events.
